  • THE GENISIS OF THE K.V.
    • Our Vidyalaya is the constituent unit of KVS, New Delhi an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The Vidyalaya is located in a lush green environment surrounded by Trishul Peaks in the campus of SSB, at Gwaldam on Srinagar-Almora Highway, 90 kms, away from Almora and 290 kms. Away from Dehradun/Haridwar. The Vidyalaya is managed by Vidyalaya Managing Committee with the DIG/Commandant, SSB, Gwaldam as Chairman.

    The affiliation of the School is renewed from 01.04.2009 to 31.03.2015.The affiliation Number is 3500037 and school Code is 57088.Teaching in Hindi (C),English(C),Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry,Biology, Computer Science,History,Economics,Geography,Physical Education and Political Science have been approved by CBSE at Senior Secondary Level.Following norms of affiliation with CBSE has been attained in the vidyalaya from the day of affiliation and according to the KVS rules.
    Essential Conditions
    • 1.School is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi, an Autonomous Body under MHRD Government Of India.Kendirya Vidyalaya Sangathan was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) on 15th December, 1965. The Objects for which the Sangathan has been established are detailed in the Memorandum of Association and Rules. The Sangathan administers the scheme of kendriya Vidyalayas formulated by the Government of India, in the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It has a three tier Management structure with Headquarters at New Delhi; Regional Offices to manage a cluster of schools; and Kendriya Vidyalayas spread all over the country and abroad. The KVS shall function through its General Body called the Sangathan, its Board of Governors and three standing Committees constituted by the Board viz. the Finance Committee, the Academic Advisory Committee and the Works Committee. The Minister of Human Resource Development, in charge of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan shall be the ex- officio Chairman of the Sangathan. The Minister of State in the Ministry of Human Resource Development shall be the Deputy Chairman and an officer of the Ministry of Human Resource Development notified by the Government of India as per Rule 3 of the Memorandum of Association and Rules. Additioner Commissioner (Admn) shall be the ex-officio Secretary of the Sangathan.
    • 2. The school run by KVS( a Registered Society/Trust/section 25 company having non proprietary character).
    • 3. School has about 04 acres (or as otherwise permitted measurement) of land and a building constructed on a part of land and proper playground on a remaining land. 4. The school have well qualified staff as per norms as whole time employees. The pupil teacher ratio should not exceed 30:1 and section teacher ratio must be 1:1.5.
    • 4. The school pay salary and admissible allowances to the staff as per recommendation of VIth CPC of Government of India to government schools.
